Setdestination is a feature that allows you to place markers on your maps, essentially creating a new way to navigate. Setdestination is very useful when you are travelling and need help finding your destination, because most mapping apps do not have this feature.

Setdestination was designed for mobile devices, but has been adding support for iOS and Android devices with each release. The addition of support for iOS and Android devices has been due to developers creating extensions for their mapping apps that add Setdestination functionality.

This article will talk about how to set destination using the Transit App on an iPhone or Android device!

Bullet point concluded: Setting up the app to use Setdestination is done via the app’s setting menu.

Active agent

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

When an agent is placed on a navigation mesh, it becomes its own entity. This allows it to be called on by other agents, which is very useful!

However, if the agent has been removed from the mesh, then setdestination cannot be called. This is important to know when using this feature as an editor.

When setdestination is called, it updates the map with the new location and sends that information to any devices that have their location setup. If your device does not have this setup, then you will not receive any information from setdestination.

Placed on a navmesh

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

An agent can only be placed on a navmesh by an editor. This happens when an editor has selected the agent as their target for placement.

Once this happens, the editor can choose any floor plan for the agent. Once that happens, the editor can then place furniture and other items in rooms.

After this, the editor has to tell the computer system that this is a target to place furniture and other items in rooms. This happens when a new room is added to a floor plan.

Once this happens, all of the furniture and other items on the computer system must match what was placed on the target by the editor. They must also match whether or not those items are able to move.

Set destination to position

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

In the example below, the agent is placed at the intersection of West and East boulevards. The agent then chooses which street to go to based on the street direction and which boulevard it is on.

After this, the agent searches for a destination and if found, clicks Accept to accept the chosen destination.

The acceptance of a given destination can take a while due to high demand, so the agent waits until another agent accepts it before continuing with the trip.

Activate destination trigger

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

When an agent is activated, the destination trigger will change. The new trigger is called arrival and it allows agents to arrive at a destination.

Before this update, if an agent was on a route that arrived at a destination, the agent could not be scheduled to depart from that destination.

This was because the arrival trigger was not assigned to that navigation event. But with this update, agents can now schedule themselves to depart from their chosen destination!

If you are an existing setdestination user, do not forget to activate your agents! They will need to enter into an agreement with yours in order for them to use this feature.

Move to the specified destination until the player presses Esc or switches to another agent

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

This can only be done when the player is at the desired location and has been redirected to it by the agent that set it up.

If the player leaves before this process is finished, they will have to manually re-activate their destination by calling Setdestination on the agent until they arrive at their destination.

Once this is done, the player can continue exploring as if nothing happened. The agent will retain any items and progress accrued while they were there.

This process must be done on an active agent that has been placed on a Navmesh. Once placed, you cannot use Setdestination Can Only Be Called on an Active Agent That Has Been Placed On A Navmesh to activate your destination.

Confirm multiple times for the same destination

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

If you run the setdestination command on an inactive agent, it will confirm a destination three times. The first time, it will display the address and locator for the next two confirmations.

This is to make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and that your telephone number and/or locator are active on the Navmesh.

If you run this command on an active agent, then it will only confirm the address and locator for the next successful navigation attempt. This is so that other agents cannot locate you if you cancel your navigation attempt!

Why Is This? It prevents other agents from attempting to locate you if you have failed to arrive at your destination.

Revisit previous destinations

When you reach your destination, you can return to previous destinations by heading back to the location where you started. Similar to walking back to your home after a visit, you will need to navigate back through the navigation map until you arrive at your destination.

This feature is useful when returning from a long-term vacation and needs to re-visit friends and other places that were part of your trip. It also works well when returning from a vacation and wants to take some time off before starting new business commitments.

By having this feature, millions of people have used Setdestination for its benefits. You can have access while you are on the go by linking your mobile device or computer to Setdestination.

Navmesh builder tool

setdestination can only be called on an active agent that has been placed on a navmesh.

The navigation builder tool can be used by any person with a computer and internet connection. You do not need to have a navigator to use this tool. It is free and available on most computers.

The navigation builder tool can be used by anyone, even if they are not a navigator. It does not matter because the navigator knows where the user is headed and what streets they will take to get there.

If you are a designer or developer, you may use this tool for designing navmesh’s as well as using maps and finding your way around your city.
