Millionaire status is a dream shared by many Americans. But becoming a billionaire is another possibility. It’s one thing to dream of being a billionaire, but it’s another thing to achieve it. There are many ways to accomplish such a goal. One way to expedite the process is by using a $1 billion morning routine.

What is this mysterious morning routine of billionaires I refer to? Let’s talk about that.

What is a billionaire morning routine?

A billion dollars’ worth of morning activities is a to-do list of things you can do when you first wake up. These activities are aimed at self-care and self-love. Their purpose is to invigorate your mind and prepare you for everything you need to do that day.

A billion dollar morning routine is inspired by what billionaires do. But it has no bizarre aspects such as consuming only one meal per day, taking cold showers, or waking up at 3 a.m.

A billionaire morning routine is ideal for any woman seeking to lead a more worthwhile, positive, and inspiring life. Regardless of whether you want to make billions or merely want to pay off your credit card debt and make everyday life easier for yourself, it is a great idea to try it!

The billionaire morning routine list

There are so many daily routines available.

1. Practice good sleep hygiene

It’s important to first sleep well. I know that this can be difficult if you have a long commute or have small children running around. However, if you get at least seven hours of sleep, it decreases your stress and aids your mind to focus on the tasks at hand.

The CDC recommends that these strategies be utilized for practicing good sleep hygiene.

Try to go to bed at the same time each night and wake up at the same time each morning. Either set an alarm or use strategies that Oprah uses and wake up when it is suitable to do so. (A girl can dream, right?) If you can find the time, you can try both and see which one is better.

Think hotel-level blackout curtains and silence. Listen to white noise, turn down the AC, or turn on a fan if you need it. It’s time to get some zzy-like zzzzz.

Keep your phone away for half an hour before going to bed. Read that book on your nightstand, wash your face, set your outfit for tomorrow, or make a list of things to do the next day.

2. Avoid checking your phone first thing in the morning

Okay, be straightforward with me. What’s the first thing you do when you open your eyes in the morning? For 80% of everyone, it’s checking your phone.

This seemingly innocent gesture can inflict far greater harm than you think. Research has shown that seeing something negative – such as a text, news headline, or urgent email – can induce your stress response and prime your mind for distraction for the rest of the day.

Start your day without checking your email, social media, or news first thing in the morning. Leave the cell phone on your bedside table until you’re ready to start your day.

3. Chug 8 ounces of water

Getting a full glass of water first thing in the morning can help restore your mental performance and rehydrate you when drinking coffee. Coffee is also diuretic, so drinking that eight ounces could rehydrate fluids lost by your morning coffee.

4. Meditate and reflect

Every morning routine of billionaires contains one thing common – time spent meditating and reflecting. It may seem a little froufrou, but it really does help you enter a state of calm mindfulness, which allows you to direct your mind toward the upcoming day.

Some of my favorite ways to meditate and reflect are to:

5. Read a good book for 30 minutes

Training your brain is a good way to kick off your morning. It keeps you concentrated on your objectives and fuels your sense of motivation.

So, in order to build your character, read one chapter of a self-betterment book every morning.

6. Set your priorities for the day

On our list of important tasks for the day, we make a list of two or three priority items that must be completed first. These are our most important tasks. Then, create a short list of everything that is not immediately important but that is still good to know.

If you start your day, complete each task without delay. If you have time to spare, you can tackle the smaller tasks.

Research has shown that you waste up to 40% of your time switching from task to task. So, write down your most important tasks each day and concentrate on those first.

7. Exercise

Morning workouts are KEY to moving quickly. For instance, you will find that you experience reduced anxiety and depression, less stress, better sleep, increased concentration and attention, and a host of other benefits.

You don’t have to do anything crazy like joining a CrossFit gym (unless that’s your jam), but your daily exercise routine could consist of:

Try fitting in a workout during your morning traffic jam if you would prefer to avoid missing any time of your morning meeting. Alternatively, you can hire an online trainer to motivate you.

Start your day now that you’ve finished your morning routine of billionaires!

Wow, that was a lot of work. Now that you’ve done your $1 billion daily routine, you’re prepared to begin your day with clarity of mind and profound concentration! Tackle that to-do list and achieve your goals.

If you’d like to be more competitive, try taking a billion dollar morning and making it a one-week or 30-day challenge. Monitor your mood and productivity over the course of the challenge to see how you fare afterwards.

Don’t have time for every item on this billion dollar routine list? That’s okay!

The following billionaire morning routine list is not a static set of must-do activities. If time does not permit you to do everything, feel free to mix and match items from this list.

Maybe you have a regimen that consists of chugging water and exercising one day, followed by a journaling, meditating, and reading routine the next. Weekend routines might also help. Use your time efficiently to see which combinations of activities work best for you and what makes you feel good for the rest of the day. Even working alone can make a big difference in how you’re feeling for the rest of the day.

Why you should try the billion dollar morning routine — even if you don’t aspire to make billions

I am not a millionaire, but I have been following many routines of billionaires for several months now (i.e. waking up early, drinking a glass of water, journaling, and reading).

I can tell you that it makes a huge difference in my mental health. I feel calmer, more productive, more relaxed, and more inspired as the day goes on.

At its core, this is what makes a billionaire morning routine worthwhile: setting goals for the day and reflecting on things you want to do. So, no matter how big your goals are, I am sure you can gain from following this billionaire morning routine.
